Praxis Jewelry is an online shop based in San Diego, California shipping to anywhere in the whole wide world.
Each piece is created here in my studio (by me!) with recycled precious metals and ethically sourced stones.
Production Time
Orders are shipping about 3 weeks from purchase.
Shipping: Once created your order will ship via the shipping method you choose at checkout. Once your order has shipped I will email you a tracking number.
Please note that California residents are charged 8% sales tax.
All jewelry is stamped on the inside or back with a Praxis marker's mark along with the appropriate metal classification (i.e. 14k, .925).
Payment
All prices are in USD (United States Dollars). I accept payments made though Paypal and Credit Cards only. If your payment is made via a Paypal "e-check", your item will not ship until the check has cleared. This can take 5-7 days for domestic payments (within the US) and 7-14 days for international payments.
Shipping
I cannot be responsible for any damages or lost items during shipment. If you are concerned about your package getting lost, stolen or damaged during shipment I strongly suggest that you ensure your purchase. Please contact me for rates.
I ship to the address that you provide. It is your responsibility to make sure that your address is correct.
Domestic shipping (within the United States)
All packages are shipped USPS First Class with tracking and delivery confirmation. The delivery time for USPS Frist Class is 2-6 business days (this does not include the production time which is listed at the top of the page). Packages are NOT insured. If you wish to have your package insured please contact me and I will adjust the rates accordingly.
International Buyers
Orders are shipped USPS International First Class, WITHOUT tracking and are not insured. Please take note that I am not responsible for any duties, taxes or customs fees, they are the sole responsibility of the buyer. You will most likely be charged an import fee of some kind. I am not responsible for this and it is not included in the shipping that you pay at the time of purchase. If you would like to purchase a tracking number or insure the package please contact me before purchasing. It is against the law and I do not mark the international customs forms as a "gift".
Refunds and Exchanges
Because everything is made to order I do not accept returns and all sales are final.
I try to describe my items to the best of my ability and will photograph their charms as well as their flaws (if any) but remember that all my items are handmade by me and will of course show signs of such. That's why you are here right!
Personalization on rings will be made exactly as written and provided by the customer. Errors made based on customers' submissions are not refundable. Of course, if any error is made by me I will swiftly correct the error free of charge.
Sizing and Resizing rings
In general I can resize a ring 1/4 to 1/2 of a size up or down without having to cut or re-solder the ring. If I can do this there is no charge for resizing the ring but you are responsible for the shipping both ways.
If the ring must be resized more then a full size smaller or larger the cost to do so will depend on the intricacy and complexity of the work needed to be done to get the correct size. In general, this fee is $25-$60 to do so. Please keep this in mind when ordering and if you have any questions about sizing I'm happy to help. I do not suggest that you "guess" what size ring is needed unless you are comfortable with paying the $25-$60 resizing fee if you need the ring resized.
